Al Sweeney, Imaginarium Site Manager, holds "Fluffy" the Python, a 12' foot Burmese Python (Python molurus bivittatus) who could grow to 18'. She weighs approximately 60 lbs. and could grow to weigh as much as 120 lbs. Fluffy resides at the Imaginarium in the Burmese Python habitat which is six-sided, 96" across the back, 54" at the front and 6' high. William Bisbee, Exhibit Technician, painted the background as a rain forest and the deck is framed and covered with green Astroturf, leaving an area open for a ninety gallon pool. A climbing pole and basking shelf complete the habitat. Three openings at the front are covered with Plexiglas providing a view of the python and her habitat.
