For the past 10 years, the mission of the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum has been to honor all Iowans who served the nation from Civil War to present by collecting, preserving, and interpreting their stories and artifacts. Over 1900 video tape oral history interviews have been conducted. The collection, the largest of its kind in the Midwest, can be viewed in the Iowa Veteran Museum’s library and on the museum’s website. Vietnam’s Faces to Go with Names and Korea’s Faces of the Fallen feature biographies and photos honoring those Iowan’s who made the ultimate sacrifice.
