Gather your extra Peeps marshmallow treats from the holidays and put them to the test at the 2019 Peeps Olympics. Participants will learn how to build a catapult and put their Peeps through a series of catapult challenges, including:
- How high can your Peep fly?
- How far can your Peep travel?
- Peeps target practice!
In addition to learning about catapults and testing your Peeps' abilities, participants will also be able to engage in experiments with their marshmallow treats. This is sure to be a fun-filled day for the entire family to enjoy!
All activities included with Regular Admission: $5 adults and children 4-13, Veterans 1/2 price, 3 & Under and Members FREE
PEEPS Olympics Rain Plan:
Because this program is going to be set-up outdoors at the Imaginarium, we feel that we better indicate our Plan B. If its rainy and windy, the Peeps Olympics will be held inside of the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum Lobby. (Across the park from the Imag).
All participants are welcomed and encouraged to visit the new exhibits at the Imaginarium before or after the Peeps Olympics (scheduled 10-1pm). And as a bonus, all are invited to tour the Grout/Veterans Museum at no additional charge. Museum hours are 9-5pm.
