"Opening New Doors" Renovation Campaign

The Grout Museum is raising funds for a major capital project to completely revamp the entrance, event spaces and gift shop of the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum/Grout Museum. These updates will make the entire building more accessible, including the recently refurbished Norris Corson Family Planetarium.
THREE MAIN COMPONENTS OF THE CAPITAL PROJECT:
- RELOCATING THE ENTRANCE & GIFT SHOP
- CREATING A LARGER EVENT SPACE
- REBUILDING THE PARKING LOT
The entrance near the planetarium leads to the main parking lot and will become the main entrance. The gift shop and admissions desk will be relocated to this entrance. The entrance on West Park Avenue will become the entrance to the expanded events center.
