Cedar Valley Blue Dot has teamed up with the Grout Museum for their March 2 meeting.
Admission is $5. (proceeds will support the Grout Museum) However, if you are a member of Cedar Valley Blue Dot, admission is free.
A light meal (usually soup or sandwiches) will also be available for $5. Proceeds from the light meal will support the Museum's two Historic Houses.
Meal starts at 5:45 pm and the speaker begins at 6 pm.
Dave Cushing will speak about the immigration crisis in our country. He will examine how to have constructive conversations about this highly divisive issue.
Dave Cushing is a member of the Faith Formation Team and director of adult faith formation for the Catholic Parishes in Waterloo. He has BA degrees in History and Sociology from Loras College in Dubuque and a Masters of Divinity degree from St. Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana. Since 1981 Dave has served in full-time parish ministry as director of faith formation and adult education in local Catholic parishes.
