Sixty years ago an eclectic collection of geological and anthropological artifacts found a home at the Grout Museum of History and Science. Visitors will learn about the life of local entrepreneur and philanthropist Henry Whittemore Grout. Discover how his boyhood collection of Native American arrowheads grew into the passion of a young man seeking his fortune in the Dakota Territories.
