The permanent exhibit continues to explore Waterloo’s evolution from a small county seat into a Midwest industrial center that focuses on machines of transportation and power along with agri-production, food processing, farm implement manufacturing, and printing. Now open to the public, three new displays will explore the Industry of Farming. Visitors will visualize changes in land use, see technological advancements in farming and learn about the products produced by area farmers. Video interviews of Iowa farmers will enhance the storyline.
